Dave Matthews Band get inducted in the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame:
The Dave Matthews Band got inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on October 19, 2024, after winning the fan vote two years in a row. Congratulations to all the band members. Well earned and well deserved!
In part, Dave Matthews said in his acceptance speech, "But I just have to say now that it is such an honor to share the stage with these guys night after night, and things have changed. But I’m going to start, I’m gonna get on it now. Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard, Leroi Moore, we wish you were here, we miss you every day. Tim Reynolds, I love you. Rashawn Ross, Buddy Strong, Jeff Coffin. Okay, I’m going to go fast. Not here, obviously, but Boyd Tinsley, wherever you are, we hope you’re finding the happiness you seek. Butch Taylor, he played keys with us for years. Thank you so much. Peter Greisar, the first keyboardist in the band. Thanks for sticking with us as long as you did. You had bigger plans."
