I think the song "Where Are You Going" makes sense for this story.
Dave Matthews, famous front man of the Dave Matthews Band, decided to take a quick bike ride on Saturday before the band's show in Hershey, Pa. As he was riding his bike along the road, his bike quickly got a flat tire and he was stranded. Matthews, oddly enough, did not have a cell phone or a GPS "Satellite" he could have used to find his way back to the tour bus.
Luckily for Mathews, Emily Kraus and her boyfriend were driving past Matthews on the way to ... the Dave Matthews Band show set for later that night.
"So, we saw him on the other side of the road and we pulled my car in here. And he picks up his bike and throws it up here," Kraus to television station WHPTV in Harrisburg, PA.
In what seemed to be a "Typical Situation," Kraus assumed she was picking up a regular bike rider who was stranded. It was not just a normal bike rider. Once Matthews got inside the car, Kraus immediately realized who they were picking up.
Needless to say, Kraus was a "Dreamgirl" during the entire car ride to the show. Her and her boyfriend really did not have "So Much To Say" to Matthews on the way to the show.
"So we didn't know how to make conversation with him in fact, so we were about his tour and where he had come from," said Kraus. "He had just been in Cincinnati and he said I'm taking a short break after this one (Hershey show) because I have to drop my daughters off at camp and he was a very humble guy."
Honestly, "What Would You Say" to your favorite musical artists if you picked them up off the side of the road.
Once they arrived at Hersheypark Stadium, Matthews invited Kraus and her boyfriend backstage to show his gratitude and "Mercy" for picking him up. They even received front row seats to the show. Matthews even gave them a personal greeting during the show.
"I was riding my bicycle. And then I got a flat tire on the bicycle. And I did not have a cell phone on the bicycle. So I though, 'S**t.' And then a nice lady named Emily rode up in a red car with a bicycle rack on it and gave me a ride on the to the gig. Thank you." Matthews signed their tickets and now Kraus has a story to tell her friends for the rest of her life. She still could not believe what happened on Sunday, a day after the occurrence. She was most likely "Tripping Billies."
"I woke up this morning, and rolled over and I said 'Okay yeah that really happened yesterday,'" said Kraus. "It was surreal. We couldn't believe it."
"Funny the Way It Is" how life works sometimes. "You Never Know."
